The Game involves the basic principles and skill of traditional cricket: running, batting, fielding and bowling, with teams in leagues competing against other teams comparable in ability.
Play On Sports has the biggest indoor cricket facility in the country, consisting of 4 international quality courts complete with state of the art scorekeeping systems and player stats analysis. It is easy to join and learn how to play.

Indoor Cricket
a) Upfront Payment in Full
£500.00 payment up front for season = discount of £68.00
2 game cancellation penalty for withdrawing for the season = £100.00
b) Pay as you play
Team Registration £120.00 = £15 per player
£56 per game = £7 per player taken for 8 games = £448
Season total = £568

Bond for Upfront Payment in Full - £56.00 Bond is always to be kept at £56.00. If a portion of the bond is drawn down for a forfeit/no-show, it must be replenished before the next game is scheduled. Bond is not to be used for and regular game payments. A bond can be given in the form of cash, Cheque, or Credit Card, which will only be drawn down if necessary. Any bond cash payments wil be reimbursed at the end of the season.

Play On Sports reserves the right to draw down the bond for any arreas that the team may owe to Play On Sports for any unpaid fixtures.
6) Once a league is scheduled the fixtures are set. If your team cannot make it on any given occasion you must give us at least 1 week notice and we will try and re-schedule the fixture for you. This is not a guarantee that it can be done, just a promise of our best efforts. If a game cannot be re-scheduled we can also assist and try to get extra players for your game.
7) If a team does not show up for a league game they are liable for the game fees for both teams for that particular game fixture (£112.00)
Cricket Basic Rules Introduction
Game Format
A game last for 1½ Hours
All playing equipment is provided. (Just wear something comfortable)
8 players per side
16 overs per game, 8 per side
Everyone bowls 2 over
Everyone bats for 4 overs
Each team has 35 minutes to bowl their overs, upon which the teams will change over
Batting
You bat in pairs and face 4 over each
The non-facer stands at the running crease
If you are out you do not leave the court, you stay at the crease and continue to bat for the full 4 overs
Every time you are out your team loses 5 runs from the total runs
When there are 2 non scoring deliveries in a row, the batters must run on the next delivery. (This is called 3rd ball)
When a female is bowling to a male, 6's will not be awarded and the batter can get caught off the back net
Bowling
Everyone has to bowl
An over lasts 6 balls
You can bowl under-arm if you prefer
If you bowl a wide or no-ball the ball is NOT re-bowled – the batting team is awarded 2 runs
When a male is bowling to a female batter, the female can insist that he bowls underarm
Fielding
There are 8 players in the fielding team
The field has to have 4 players in each half of the court
Dismissals/getting out
Caught (anywhere except off the back net when the batter hits a 6)
Runout
Bowled
Stumped
Leagues
Evening Leagues - Monday to Thursday (Teams play once a week, unless on special arrangement)
